How to use Face Unlock on Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2?

I have been publishing articles about Samsung mobiles recently like S Duos 2 review, Grand 2 review etc. While I am using Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2, I came to know there is a face unlock security feature which allows you to secure your S Duos 2 mobile with your face. While setting up this feature, you have to take a photo and then whenever you want to unlock the screen you should face the screen.
In other case, if you are unable to unlock by facing then you can unlock the screen by entering alternate passkey method. Face unlock feature works very fine but there is a major drawback with this feature is that anyone with similar face (more or less) can also able to unlock. I have tested the same with my cousin, not all the time it is unlocking but out of 5 he can able to unlock 3 times successfully.
And another drawback of this feature is that you must face your face straight to the screen, this maybe very dangerous if you are in driving. To enable this feature follow these steps.
  • Go to settings then My device
  • Select lock screen
face unlock on s duos 2
  • Under screen security, select “Screen lock”
face unlock on s duos 2 -01
  • Select “Face unlock “then follow 2 little instructions and you are ready to use.
face unlock for s duos 2 -03
Note:
  • You have to configure the alternate password.

It’s been a while since Motorola release a valid mobile and actually they did well with Moto G. Motorola manufacturer’s got attention of almost every frequent mobile user. And, for the looks it got and of course with the colorful flip covers on the commercials is fantastic. But, seriously does this mobile really that good? I don’t think so. Like many others, even I thought to own one but after serious study of the mobile, my serious opinion is that, it’s just another Android mobile.

What’s the innovative feature of Moto G?
Moto Migrate:
I shouldn’t have to say, it’s the innovative feature but for Android, Yes it is. Actually this feature is already there in Nokia Lumia mobiles as Transfer my data. This is the best and smart way to transfer all your data from any other mobile to your Windows mobile like Contacts, Photos etc. But in Moto Migrate feature, you can only able to migrate date from any other Android mobile to your new Moto G. And, that includes text messages and call logs as well. This is the one of the best features to count on Moto G.

Latest Android:
Certainly this is the another best feature of Moto G, it runs with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and that can be upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat.

Advantages of Moto G:
  • Larger & HD Display
  • Upgradable OS
  • Processor
  • Moto Migrate feature
  • Scratch resistant Gorilla glass
  • Easily changeable back covers
Why should I buy Moto G?
This might be your prime question, “Why should I buy Moto G” and here are my answers
* If you are a Motorola fan
* If you like fancy coloured covers
* If you hate Samsung mobiles
* Better performance
Verdict:
I don’t want to diplomatic on Moto G but still, if you are looking for Android mobile other than Samsung then go for Moto G. Don’t expect wonders with this hot release Moto G. Sooner or later, you will be sorry for buying a mobile for Rs 12,499 which supports 8 GB internal memory and of course that can’t be expandable. Consider Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2, Nokia Lumia 525 on your buy list before going for Moto G. Nothing fascinates you but the looks (don’t prefer black, that even worse) and the performance.

But it isn’t priced at fewer than 15k but still it has an affordable price tag of Rs 16,500. And, it is almost as same as the great Samsung Galaxy Grand. We people knows better how much impact Galaxy Grand created on the mobile world. If are thinking to buy Android phone rather than going for any Windows mobile then it’s a quite choice to make.

There are a few slight changes when compared with the Samsung’s earlier release Galaxy Grand but Galaxy Quattro replaces most of your wants in a mobile. Before discussing anymore about Galaxy Quattro, let’s have a look at the comparison between Samsung Galaxy Grand and Samsung Galaxy Quattro.
Samsung Galaxy Quattro Vs Grand:

Note:
  • The processor speed might be the same but the names of the processor are different.
  • I haven’t checked the photo clarity of Samsung Galaxy Quattro.
Now, from the above comparison, I know you are little confused and that’s not a problem I will guide to chose the better one. One thing I must say you here, I haven’t tested the new Samsung Galaxy Quattro but I can assure you that will be fine. Let me explain you how can I assure you, most of the specs are same. The processor speed and RAM is also same for both the mobile, which means you can happily install and use all the apps (which are working on the Samsung Galaxy Grand).

Final Word:
If you are willing to buy Samsung Galaxy Grand then go for Samsung Galaxy Quattro unless you want take many photos on your mobile. As Grand features an 8MP camera where as Quattro features 5MP. But the price difference is Rs 3,000. And, if you order from Flipkart, you can get 16GB memory card for free.
